A trio of festivals, a New Orleans brass band and crayfish boil, and an album release show.

Indie-rock band Foxby is celebrating a new album with a release show Friday night at Brigid's in Bemidji at 8 p.m. The Manual of Day and Night will be the Mosi Palosaari-fronted band's second album, and the show Friday night will feature new member Lisa Mattson on backing vocals and synthesizer.
On Saturday, the Rusty Crayfish Brass Band is playing Ernie's on Gull at 1 p.m. Fittingly, the New Orleans-style brass band will be accompanied by a crayfish boil and outdoor party at the restaurant on East Gull Lake. The group has one album out, Anywhere But Here, from 2023.
Now for a trio of festivals this weekend:
Thorstock is this Saturday and Sunday at Thor’s Garage in Eveleth. The Saturday lineup begins at 2 p.m with Squidlife Crisis and continues with Crimson Soul, The Draco Volans, The Leave Alones, Gnarwals, and festival host Thor Leseman & The Wregulars.
On Sunday at Thorstock, music also begins at 2 p.m. with Eli Little & The Eazy Liv'n Blues Band, Brothers Burn Mountain, Keith Secola & Gary Farmer, Rich Mattson & The Northstars, Stony River, and Entheos Enclave.
Fest du Nord is also this Saturday and Sunday at the YMCA Camp du Nord in Ely. Music begins Saturday at 3 p.m. with Jack Klatt, Roe Family Singers, The Penny Peaches, and Koo Koo Kangaroo.
On Sunday, Follow The Firefly, Matt Wilson, Little Fevers and LAAMAR are on the lineup beginning at 3 p.m.
The last festival on The Setlist is the Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post's annual Native American Music & Arts Festival, Sunday starting at 10 a.m. Alongside food and art vendors there are four musical acts on the lineup including Hillside Singers, Annie Humphrey, Jada Brown, and Waar Party. Free and open to the public on the shores of Lake Mille Lacs in Onamia.
