Feeling cooped up with extra family at the house? Here are excuses to get out of the house in the days after Christmas. Happy Holidays!
On Friday, Ted Feyder will be continuing the Christmas tunes for an additional day at Roundhouse Brewery in Nisswa. Feyder is an acoustic singer-songwriter with over 40 years of performance experience and the Roundhouse Show is an annual holiday event. Music begins at 5 p.m.
At the same time, Reggie Ducote is playing at Smoke on the Water in Coleraine. Ducote is a singer-songwriter from Louisiana with a background in Cajun music. He now lives in Northern Minnesota and plays a mix of acoustic originals and covers. It’s 5 p.m. this Friday in Coleraine.
In Bemidji, 5-piece cover band Tiny Town are playing at Brigid’s Irish Pub at 7 p.m. The group draws from funk, jazz, folk and more, covering music they say is “ethically sourced and free range." That's Friday night in Bemidji.
On to Sunday and back to the Roundhouse Brewery in Nisswa for Acoustic Fest with host Brendan Flynn. The brewery, a longtime space for local musicians to play in the Brainerd Lakes region, will be closing their doors after the New Year. To celebrate, they are hosting a full day of music with many different musicians throughout the day, beginning at 1 p.m.
