Have you ever heard about a show while listening to KAXE? What about here on on The Setlist?
Over the years, we heard from countless folks in Northern Minnesota about the difficulty in finding information on our live music scene. In response, we added this feature to shine on light on the musicians and venues that make our neck of the woods a vibrant and art filled part of the world. It's only possible with your support. If you are a fan a live local music, please click the yellow donate button at the top right corner of the page.
This week, The Setlist highlights shows in Grand Rapids, Hoyt Lakes, Cass Lake and Gilbert, with one each day from Thursday to Sunday. Get out there and support our local musicians!
First up, Teague Alexy will be at Rapids Brewing Co. Thursday at 6 p.m. Alexy is a rootsy singer-songwriter who draws from folk, rock and blues. He just released a new single called "Babylon Babblin'," the follow-up to his collaborative album with Duluth ska group Woodblind.

Finally, Thor Leseman and Ida Metsberg will be at the Ore House in Gilbert this Sunday at 3 p.m. Leseman is an Iron Range songwriter whose writing explores the American song tradition, and Metsberg is a Finnish indie and pop singer based in New York City.
