The Setlist returns after a holiday break with four shows across Northern Minnesota.
2025 is going to be another great year for live music in our area, but only if you get out there and support the artists!
In addition to the shows mentioned below, keep these upcoming concerts on your radar: Dave and Dave of Trampled by Turtles in Aitkin on Feb. 1, Colter Wall in Duluth on Feb. 22 and Erik Koskinen in Bemidji, also on Feb. 22.
First up is The Mark Petersen Band, performing Friday night at Roundhouse Brewery in Nisswa. They are a classic country quartet from the Brainerd lakes area. Music begins at 6 p.m.
In Aitkin, Indecent Proposal will be at Sampaguita, Saturday at 7 p.m. They are a groove-heavy rock band that draws inspiration from pop and hip-hop and are known for their high-energy shows. At the end of 2024, they released a catchy new single, "Glow."
Also Saturday at 7 p.m., Aaron Tank & Friends will be at Headwaters Music & Arts in Bemidji. Tank is now based in Duluth but started his career in Bemidji and will be joined by different local musicians on stage. He is a folk singer-songwriter with thoughtful and uplifting songs.
Old-timey trio Sugar on the Roof is celebrating the release of a new self-titled album at Smoke on the Water in Coleraine this Sunday at 2 p.m. Megan Orwig Reynolds, Clancy Ward and Jefferson Reynolds are experts at recreating sounds of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s through original and traditional songs. Megan and Jefferson will join Headwaters this Friday at 9:30 a.m. to talk about the show and the new album. Tune in!
