BAUDETTE — A woman's body was found after a search of a Lake of the Woods County park Friday, July 31.
Deputies responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle at Clementson Rapids Park, about 8 miles east of Baudette, around noon Friday.
Baudette Fire and Rescue personnel located the body of Blossom Chwialkowski, 64, almost three hours later.
In a news release, Sheriff Gary Fish reported the incident remains under investigation pending a full autopsy.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting the sheriff’s office with the case, and the Lake of the Woods Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
