GRAND RAPIDS — The Itasca County Sheriff's Office said a missing 80-year-old man has been found safe the same morning he was reported missing.
Bruce Larson was reported missing Thursday morning, July 9, from the Wabana area. He has dementia and regularly walks several miles but hadn't returned home, according to the sheriff's office.
Larson is white with white hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue shorts and white sneakers. He may be wearing sunglasses and does not have a phone.
The sheriff's office asked people to check their yards, outbuildings, trails, docks, hunting land or other areas where Larson could have stopped to rest.
"Bruce has been located safe!" a social media update from the sheriff's office said. "Thank you to all that helped and shared this post."
