BAGLEY — An 18-year-old Bagley man died in a car crash over Labor Day weekend.
The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office said a report came in around 7:40 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1, of a crash on Tower Avenue Southwest in Bagley.
The responding deputy found a vehicle on its roof on the south side of the road, about a quarter-mile south of Highway 2.
The sheriff’s office reported the driver appeared to have lost control as he entered the curve, went off the road and rolled.
James Johnson was the sole occupant and was ejected from the vehicle.
A Sanford Health-Bagley ambulance brought Johnson to the Bagley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene.
"Our condolences go out to the family and all those impacted by this tragedy," the sheriff's office said.
