The DNR is looking for people with a wide range of perspectives to provide input on two fisheries groups, one for Lake Winnibigoshish and the other for Rainy Lake.
Local fishing guides, local or statewide anglers, local business and resort owners and other water-based business owners are invited to apply.
The groups work closely with the DNR to provide input on fisheries management activities on Rainy Lake or Lake Winnie, as well as other regulated water activities.
During management plan revisions, the groups are anticipated to meet up to four times per year.
More information on how to apply is on the Rainy Lake or Lake Winnibigoshish fishery websites.
