Summer EBT is now called SUN Bucks, and some families with school-aged children will be mailed new cards for buying groceries or visiting farmers' markets during the summer months.
SUN Bucks provides $120 in “food stamps” per eligible school-aged child and is a federally funded program administered by the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth and Families and the Minnesota Department of Education.
Families whose households participate in specific public assistance programs and those who successfully applied for the free and reduced lunch program will be mailed cards between late May and September.
