COTTON — A third large fire is burning in the Arrowhead, prompting additional evacuations.
The Munger Shaw Fire is burning on both sides of Munger Shaw Road, south of Three Lakes Road and quickly moving north, as of a 5:15 p.m. update from the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office.
Residents in the eastern half of Cotton Township, including Morley Beach Road, Elde Road and surrounding areas should evacuate.
Cotton Town Hall is being established as an evacuation center.
The Munger Shaw Fire was estimated at 30 acres around 3:30 p.m., according to Watch Duty.
Two more fires, Camp House and Jenkins Creek, have burned hundreds of acres each, roughly 25 miles northeast of the Munger Shaw Fire.
