COLERAINE — Paul Bunyan Communications is expanding its all-fiber optic network to over 800 more locations in the cities of Coleraine and Bovey.
In a Thursday, May 1, news release, the cooperative said construction is expected to begin mid-May for over 480 locations in Coleraine. Construction is anticipated to start in late summer or early fall for over 350 locations in Bovey.
Paul Bunyan Communications expects services to be available by winter.
Internet with speeds up to 10 gigabits and low-cost local and long-distance telephone will be available once the network is operational.
The cooperative said those interested in getting connected to the network should sign up for service now. Find more information on their website.
