The two-week project begins in early September and the Minnesota Department of Transportation plans to smooth out the driving surface.

NISSWA — Drivers along the Highway 371 corridor between Nisswa and Jenkins can expect lane closures and delays for a two-week project in early September.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will micro-surface the pavement, sealing minor cracks, pavement ruts and other irregularities. The work will occur on weekdays in segments, weather permitting.

Drivers will encounter periodic lane closures, lane shifts and delays. Work is expected to be completed in the middle of September.

MnDOT is planning future improvements to the Highway 371 corridor between Nisswa and Baxter and is accepting public input through Sept. 9.
