AITKIN — Aitkin County CARE has announced a new sobriety court transportation service and is seeking volunteer drivers.
CARE stands for Coordinating Area Resources Effectively.
The organization is partnering with Aitkin County Sobriety Court to provide rides to and from treatment, appointments, court-related events and programming and sober support meetings.
The new program launches in mid-September.
Drivers will receive training and be reimbursed for mileage.
