The survey will be used to inform future decisions, and responses may help secure grant funding for current walkability issues.

The City of Hibbing and Essentia Health announced the launch of a community survey to gather information about the walking environment in Hibbing.

The Hibbing Walkability Project survey aims to empower residents to actively participate in shaping the future of walkability in the area, according to a news release.

Hibbing residents can complete the survey online at orangeplacesproject.com/hibbing or visit the Hibbing Public Library to complete a paper copy.

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. All questions are optional, and individual responses will remain confidential, the city said.

Those who respond by March 31 will have a chance to enter a drawing for a $15 gift card to Super One Foods.

Findings from the Hibbing Walkability Project may also help secure grant funding to address identified issues for pedestrians in Hibbing.
