BEMIDJI — The monthly offering “Writing Under the Full Moon” is set for 8-9:30 p.m. Friday, May 5, at Lake Bemidji State Park.

The event “creates space for your stories to emerge,” a news release stated.

“A short walk outdoors to ground us (weather permitting) is followed by writing time. No experience needed, only a wee bit of courage. This guided approach to writing helps you find your own voice and generate new writing.”

People ages 18 and older are invited. Registration is required and the group size is limited to six. To register, contact Annette Drewes at annette.drewes@gmail.com. There is no fee for this program, but all vehicles entering the park need a valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit.
