In 2019, program directors Lynette Schmidt and Jollene Latvala joined the KAXE Morning Show to talk about that year’s event and why it’s important: to educate people and demystify mental health.
“Mental health is a continuum, and people can be anywhere on that spectrum. So just because today or this year might be a struggle doesn't mean that continues forever,” Latvala said.
