Ellis Delaney performing in Nisswa as part of Grassroots Concerts series

NISSWA — Minneapolis-based folk singer Ellis Delaney will perform Friday, March 10, at the Live Well Night Club and Coffee Bar at the Journey Church.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis, with the show at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door for adults and $5 for children with listening attention, when accompanied by an adult.

Delaney is known for her stirring lyrics, open-hearted performances and contagious laughter, organizers stated. Her new song collection Ordinary Love is anything but ordinary, speaking to personal issues of love and loss, and expanding to include global and social justice themes.

At each concert, Grassroots welcomes nonperishable food or cash donations to the local food shelf.
