Not only did October bring us warmer temperatures this year, but it also came in hot with the music!
By now, you may know that each month the KAXE Music Team — Malachy Koons, Dan Gannon (aka DJ Dang) and me, Music Director Kari Hedlund — gets together to chat about our favorite songs and albums released the previous month.
Take a listen to the latest edition of Spin That Ish and find new indie twang from Minnesota in Under Violet, cry with Kari while listening to Brandi Carlile, all of the vibes from Antibalas, explore powwow with the blues in the new collaboration from Blue Moon Marquee and Northern Cree, get down and weird with Genesis Owusu, hear about Iceage's frontman Elias Ronnenfelt's turn with his second solo album, the return of '90s rock with Snocaps and Ratboys, and a new Third Man Records signing with the Belair Lip Bombs.
What are you listening to? Join the music conversation! Text us at 218-326-1234 or send us an email.
