Marshall Helmberger, Editor and publisher of the Timberjay newspaper, joins Heidi Holtan with news from northeastern Minnesota. This week Marshall talks about the impact the passing of the bonding bill will have in his area. It includes funding for the Lake Vermilion-Soudan Underground Mine State Park, the Correctional facility in Togo and the Ely trailhead complex including funds for biking and hiking trails throughout NE Minnesota. Marshall tells us about the winter warning from the forest service telling folks to be aware of the weather especially when traveling in the BCA.
