For the 26 years now, the weekend after Labor Day in Walker, MN has become a multi-cultural experience bringing people together to celebrate foods, music, dance and traditions from around the world. This Saturday, the annual event kicks off with a parade at 11am followed by music and performers on four different stages around town. Vendors, vittles, crafts and cultural experiences throughout the community will provide world flavor to locals, tourists and day-trippers. We spoke with Cindy Wannarka, President of Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, about the upcoming event on the morning show.
