DETROIT LAKES — Amy Rosing and Kim Frederick rose to the top of a crowded field Tuesday, Aug. 11, to advance to the general election to replace retiring Becker County Auditor-Treasurer Mary E. Hendrickson.

Four other candidates were on the ballot, although one — Brent Benscoter — had withdrawn from the campaign. Zac Baer finished third, Nathan Martin came in fourth and Darin O Halvorson was fifth.
