Journalist Chelsey Perkins joined us today to talk about the Legislative races in the Brainerd region where there were no real suprises: Republicans swept the region. That includes incumbents like Josh Heintzeman and Justin Eichorn and newcomers like Ben Davis and Mike Wiener.
Chelsey also covered sheriff's races, school boards and other local government positions.
One of the things she was most surprised by was the money put into the Brainerd School District race - where DJ Dondelinger invested what is thought to be his personal funds of approximately 42,000 to win that election.
