BIGFORK — Edge Center for the Arts features local artist Karlyn Atkinson Berg this month.
Berg is from Bigfork and the exhibit “Unfolding Odyssey” explores the connections between humans, animals and wilderness with collage and painting.
Berg also teaches dog tracking workshops and has been tracking for 18 years and won titles with her German shepherds.
The Bigfork gallery is open 1-4 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. Atkinson Berg’s exhibit will be on display through Saturday, Oct. 28.

John Taylor Ward is the artistic director of the festival in the Brainerd area. Raised in Appalachia, Ward is also a classical singer and folk music researcher/practitioner.

Chicago artist Phyllis Bramson joined “Area Voices” to discuss her inspirations and her first visit to Northern Minnesota. Her Nemeth Art Center exhibit runs through July 26.

The Bemidji Community Theater’s final show this season is “The Iliad, The Odyssey, and all of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less.” Director Vicki Stenerson joined “Area Voices.”
