Headwaters' open mic and coffee house season begins Sept. 1, 2023.

BEMIDJI — Headwaters Music and Arts kicks off its 2023-24 Headwaters Open Mic and Coffee House season 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1.

September’s featured group is The Swivets. The event takes place at Headwaters Music and Arts, 519 Minnesota Ave. NW., Bemidji.

All ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign up for a 10- to 15-minute set, which can include music or spoken word. Sign-up for the open mic by emailing jjhgaard@gmail.com.

Admission is $3 per person or $7 for families.
