In spite of feeling like a year-long month, March gave us some excellent music for our ears.
In this month's edition of Spin that Ish, the KAXE Music Team puts a wrap on March 2026 releases with songs from Riverfest headliner Courtney Barnett — who displays a new register and sound in "Same" — Kelsey Lu with a pop banger for the summer in "Running to Pain" and free jazz collective Irreversible Entanglements gets two shoutouts for "Don't Lose Your Head" and "Vibrate Higher" off their new album Future Present Past.
Dan's into some good old rock 'n' roll with The Outfit's latest album Preservers of the Pearl, Kari digs into the jammy blues goodness of Future Soul from Tedeschi Trucks Band and Malachy is feeling everything that Charlotte Cornfield is delivering on Hurts Like Hell.
Take a listen above to Spin that Ish on Dan's KAXE, find out what Malachy has already picked out for his Halloween costume, Kari talks extra-curriculars, and the team tells the one banjo joke there is.
