Listen as the KAXE Music Team highlights their favorite music from April in our "Monthly Music Recap" series. Hear it live on the final Thursday of the month on "Headwaters."

New this year, the Music Team at KAXE gets together at the end of each month to talk all things new music.

The three of us — Malachy Koons, Dan Gannon aka DJ Dang and me, Music Director Kari Hedlund — chat about our favorite songs and albums released that month, music we’re looking forward to and the songs we just can't get enough of in the "Monthly Music Recap."

Take a listen to our recap of April, featuring albums like Bon Iver's free-flowing and creative SABLE, fABLE, the party in the streets of New Orleans that is Hot 8 Brass Band's Big Tuba, and the brooding and gothic (maybe?) DOGGOD from L.A. WITCH.
