BROOKSTON — The body of a woman reported missing earlier this week was discovered by authorities Thursday afternoon in Brookston.
51-year-old Nori Jean Pribble was last seen Saturday night in the area of Highway 31 and McCamus Road before a family member reported her missing on Sunday.
Shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday, members of the St. Louis County Rescue Squad located her body in a wooded area off of a logging road, just south of McCamus Road.
The rescue squad conducted the search in coordination with the sheriff’s office and the Fond du Lac Police Department, which continues to investigate.
According to a news release, the cause of death is pending medical examiner findings.
At this point in the investigation, Pribble’s death is not believed to have been a result of foul play.
