Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator
Reports To: Music Director
FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt 
Location: KAXE – Grand Rapids, KBXE – Bemidji, Possible Distant 
Compensation: Hourly ($17-22/hour depending on experience)

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Volunteers are pivotal to the success of KAXE/KBXE and have always been the cornerstone of events and on-air programming. Whether hosting trivia, music shows or working at events, we are looking for a connector to the community. We are looking for someone who thrives in creating relationships, is organized and has strong communication skills.

As Volunteer Coordinator you will join a team of committed professionals who want to see you succeed in fostering a great crew of volunteers. We are looking for a creative individual who will:

• Maintain a database of volunteer information and contacts
• Keep in communication with on-air volunteers on a weekly basis, filling needed on- air shifts to ensure live radio and the best programming possible
• Train and be responsive to volunteer needs
• Lead volunteers at events like the Grand Rapids Riverfest
• Participate in fundraising and filling shifts on-air as needed

The Volunteer Coordinator will report directly to the Music Director & Festival & Events Coordinator.
