Minnesota's U.S. Senators Tina Smith and Amy Klobuchar wrote letters about the Bemidji Indian Health Service office and Fergus Falls federal courthouse.

The money will be used to improve parts of State Highway 1 and Walking Shield Road, plus extending the latter.

Eleven of the projects, funded by the Renewable Energy for America Program, are in Northern Minnesota.
