Cheryl Norman, CLC’s vice president of academic and student affairs, said the safety of students, faculty and staff and the community is the college’s top priority in making this decision.

The Pride Support Network and Bemidji Pride Committee host Bemidji Pride Aug. 25-27. Events include live music, a family-friendly drag show, an 18+ drag show, dance party, drag brunch and more.

Since 2021, Bemidji Pride has been fostering an environment of fellowship and support for the LGBTQIA+ and two-spirit community, organizers stated.
