Elk and caribou in Minnesota

Makenzie Henk, an elk biologist with the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, discusses the reintroduction initiative and the steps underway to prepare.

The agency said the sheriff issued an "elk possession tag" despite not having legal authority to do so. It wants the court to put a stop to it.
