Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge

The historic year of wildfires across northwest Minnesota in the spring and summer of 2021 served to increase the emphasis of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service conducting prescribed fires regularly to manage vegetative fire fuels like grass, brush and trees across the landscape.
