Solar Systems: Solar United Neighbors of MN and the Iron Range Solar Co-op

The solar co-op is open to residents and small businesses on the Iron Range, along Hwy 169 from Grand Rapids to Ely.

The non-profit,Solar United Neighbors of Minnesota, helps  residents and small businesses in Bemidji and on the Iron Range, design and build affordable solar systems for their homes and businesses. 

Hear this interview with Virginia Rutter, Program Diector for Solar United Neighbors, and Art Norton of Warba.  Art has used solar power in his home for more than 35 years and is a member of the Iron Range Solar Co-op.  The Iron Range Co-op and the Bemidji Solar Co-op have both retained Wolf Track Energy of Duluth to build their solar systems.  Learn more by visiting their web sites and attending the Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability Earth Fest in Mt.
