Allison Mosshart and Jamie Prince have found new areas to explore on their latest album, God Games.
For the first time the duo used keyboards, not guitars, as a starting point for their songs. Drawing from dub, post-punk, trip-hop and more, the sound is heavy, murky, and futuristic.
Despite the added textures, The Kills' trademark interplay between Mosshart's bluesy vocals and Prince's jagged guitar riffs is still prominent.
Listen to KAXE all week to hear more from God Games.
