On her new album The Light In My Bones, Leech Lake Anishinaabe singer Annie Humphrey emphasizes the power individuals have over their own destiny.
In her own words, "I am 57 now. I am climbing my Fourth Hill of life. My view is growing in all directions. I hope the words and music can help you see what I see."
Filling out Humphrey's songs on the album are a group of talented Midwest musicians including Jeremy Ylvisaker, S. Carey, and Liz Draper.
