Brothers Jack Torrey and Page Burkum of The Cactus Blossoms spoke to Kari Hedlund on "Centerstage Minnesota."

PALISADE — This Saturday, July 22, the Long Lake Conservation Center is hosting “Nature Rocks,” a fundraiser concert to support its nature school and summer camps.

One of the featured performers is Minnesota duo The Cactus Blossoms, made up of brothers Jack Torrey and Page Burkum. The two spoke to Kari Hedlund on KAXE this week about their experiences with nature ahead of the festival.

The money raised from the event will go toward scholarships for kids around the state of Minnesota.

Also performing at the festival are Kat Perkins, New Salty Dog, King’s Ransom, Aurora Baer, and Bruce Archer. KAXE is a co-sponsor of the event.
