Tuesday, Sept. 29
- Bemidji Adventures in Lifelong Learning - 10-11 a.m. at Bemidji Eagles Club. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. for refreshments. Isabelle Harmon will give a talk called "Discovery, Culture, Adventure: Journey Across the World."
Wednesday, Sept. 30
- Northern Exposure to Lifelong Learning program - 9:30 a.m. at the Bagley Public Library. Doors open at 9 a.m. for refreshments. Isabelle Harmon will give a talk called "Discovery, Culture, Adventure: Journey Across the World."
- Verse Like Water - noon at the Chalberg Theater on the campus of Central Lakes College in Brainerd. Poet Marie Howe will read her work.
- School board candidate forum - 6 p.m. (Grand Rapids), 7:30 p.m. (Deer River) at I.S.D. 318 Administration building (former Southwest Elementary School) in Grand Rapids. You can attend in person or watch a recording on ICTV. Moderated by KAXE reporters Megan Buffington and Emma Krab.
