- Bemidji Jaycees Water Carnival - 1-8 p.m. at Bemidji waterfront
- New Neighbor Connect - 5-7 p.m. at Minnesota Discovery Center. RSVP. Held this month in conjunction with Band, Brews & BBQ.
- Miss Aurora & Lil' Miss Aurora Coronation - 5:30 p.m. on Main Street in Aurora
- Interpretive Mountain Biking Tour - 5-6:30 p.m. at Redhead MTB Park (meet at Minnesota Discovery Center front desk). Registration is limited. Call 218-254-7959.
- Sir Valourant & the Dragon - 7 p.m. on Lake Avenue in Hill City, in front of the pavilion. Presented by Grand Rapids Players.
Friday, July 3
- Patriotic Days - Beginning at 10 a.m. in Aurora with parade at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m.
- Bemidji Jaycees Water Carnival - 1-11 p.m. at Bemidji waterfront
- Wheel of Fun Eagle Trivia - 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park (at start of trail to visitor center or inside the visitor center if raining)
- First Friday Art Walk - 4-7 p.m. throughout downtown Grand Rapids
Saturday, July 4
- Bemidji Jaycees Water Carnival - All day at Bemidji waterfront
- Pond Critters program - 10 a.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park. Meet at the marina.
- Bug Hunt - 2 p.m. at Lake Bemidji State Park. Meet in the west picnic area.
- Festive Fourth! Concert - 4 p.m. at Veda Zuponcic Auditorium at Mesabi East High School in Aurora
Sunday, July 5
- Bemidji Jaycees Water Carnival - All day, with 1 p.m. grand parade
