Grand Rapids Players

There's opportunities to see local theater this weekend, from Virginia to Coleraine and Grand Rapids to Brainerd.

Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids Players Summer Theater Camp will stage two plays on at 6:30 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Reif Center. The production starts with a comedy called Knock, Knock, which will be followed by a musical production, Finding Nemo, Jr. Listen to a recent conversation from KAXE's Morning Show by clicking the audio above. Brainerd

Actors Repertory Theater presents Tuesdays with Morrie at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27; Friday and Saturday at the Dryden Theater on the campus of Central Lakes College in Brainerd.

Coleraine

Students of Greenway Theater Camp present The Wizard of Oz at 6 p.m. Friday at Greenway High School Auditorium.

Virginia

There's still one more weekend to see Full Range, a collaboration between Mixed Blood Theater from Minneapolis and local actors from the Iron Range. Performances are Thursday through Sunday. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rock Ridge Performing Arts Center. Tickets are free and can be reserved at Mixed Blood’s website or are available at the door. Listen to a conversation with the play's director.
