… as we like to say in the business, shelters save lives, but housing ends homelessness…we took the thin slice of the pie of strictly single adults that were living on the streets...– Reed Olson, Executive Director, Nameless Coalition for the Homeless.
Bemidji’s Nameless Coalition for the Homeless supports the homeless community by providing single homeless adults with warmth at night at the Wolfe Center as well as the shelter during the daytime hours at the New Day Center.
The Nameless Coalition will host a fundraiser to support its efforts tonight at Brigid’s Pub in downtown Bemidji. The night of music along with an arts and services auction begins at 7:30pm. Kristi Miller and Reed Olson of the Nameless Coalition stopped by to discuss the work they do and the homelessness issue in Beltrami County.
