Friday mornings Timberjay editor and publisher Marshall Helmberger joins Heidi Holtan for Border News Roundup. This week Marshall gives us an update on the Greenwood Town Board’s refusal to grant the demand from elected clerk Debby Spicer for additional pay. He talks about the high winds near Lake Vermilion knocking down trees and sending huge slabs of ice up on shore, where it took out docks, boat lifts, and gouged shorelines.

Heidi and Marshall discuss the fishing opener happening this Saturday. Marshall reports open water on Lake Vermilion and other area lakes, predicting a great year for fishing walleyes. Find out more by going to timberjay.com.
