Sports Page now on the Friday Morning Show!

After 35 years the Sports Page moves from the Thursday Morning Show to the Friday Morning Show at 8:10. This week Fried Freidman joins John Bauer and Heidi Holtan. They discuss the controversy over Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic being denied entry into Australia because he is not vaccinated, Bud Grants suggestions for changes in the NFL, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer, Gopher basketball and more. Trivia theme today is “Names & Numbers.”

Heidi Holtan is News and Public Affairs Director for Northern Community Radio. She is on-air host and executive producer for the Morning Show and is also responsible for our local presence on All Things Considered and As It Happens. She produces thoughtful segments like Dig Deep and Strong Women.
John has been listening to KAXE since the early days in 1976, and has worked as our Development Director since 1995. You can hear him on the Morning Show on Thursdays and Fridays. He is also the women’s basketball coach at Itasca Community College. John loves animals, golf, and complaining about the Minnesota Twins.
