Many bands are making the best of our pandemic situation by offering ticketed virtual events. Starting this Thursday, check out Trampled by Turtles new virtal series, Trampled by Thursdays.
Trampled by Thursdays is the band's weekly series, starting February 4th, streaming every Thursday in February with a unique setlist for each show. Some of these songs haven't been played since the band's early days sitting across from each other on folding chairs in Duluth. They're kicking off the series by playing their Palominoalbum (released in 2010) from start to finish. The rest of the series will feature Stars & Satellites (Feb. 11), The Pachyderm Sessions (Feb. 18) and straight up 'Old School' (Feb. 25).
Recorded at First Ave, each show as full production and includes commentary from the band sharing stories and reminising about the songs. Portions of the process benefit #saveourstages to help independent venues hit hard in the pandemic.
