On August 5th of 2019 Barbara McDonald became the 13th president of The College of St. Scholastica. With a background in leadership and higher education administration and a long career with the MN State Colleges and Universities System including North Hennepin Community College Itasca Community College and Rainy River Community College in International Falls.
She has a doctorate of education from the University of MN Mpls as well as a masters of Arts in Teaching from American University in Cairo and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder after attending Itasca Community College.
