Long Lake Conservation Center located near Palisade, MN is a county park and a nature education facility. It’s a place for learning, discovery and connecting to nature. Their mission is to encourage the exploration, conservation, education and appreciation of nature. Dave McMillan, manager of the Long Lake Conservation Center, joins Heidi Holtan and John Latimer to talk about the facility. The Long Lake CC has been connecting students with nature since 1965.
