Crosby, Duluth and other places around the world have all had success with "bikenomics" creating recreation trails that not only create a great, healthy exercise option but add to the economic success of the region.
The Tioga Recreation Trail Fest at Tioga Beach is Saturday August 24 from 11-3. It is a celebration of the opening of a world-class mountain bike trail – the day is part fundraiser – inauguration and celebration. The new trail system in Cohasset is a 400 acre track of land with over 30 miles of trails.
The event includes bike demos, trail tours, women’s and kid’s bike clinics and a party in the park with food, music, beer, cider and wine.
