Everybody can use one more person in life that cares about them.  Many organizations around northern MN pair caring adult mentors with kids who could use some time with an adult outside their family - including Bridges Kinship Mentoring in Grand Rapids and Kinship Partners in Brainerd, Pequot Lakes, Staples and Crosby.  Executive Director of Bridges Deb DeMuth and board member Chelsi Drobnik joined John and Heidi on the Friday Morning Show.

For more than two decades, Heidi Holtan has helped shape the sound of KAXE. Since joining the station in 2002 as a volunteer music programmer, she has worn many hats including the weekly book program, Realgoodwords, hosting the Morning Show, creation and host of the weekly call-in program Between You and Me, serving as Outreach Producer. Program Director, News Director and currently Director of Content and Public Affairs.
