Don Chosa Finds His Grandfather's Novel and more with Marshall Helmberger

www.timberjay.com

Each Friday morning Marshall Helmberger tells us some of the stories his newspaper, the Timberjay, has been covering.  The lead story this week is about a man from Nett Lake who found his grandfather's manuscript and published it.  It's called "Savage Ancestors" and was probably written in the 1930s.  Marshall also tells us about the Governor Mark Dayton's trip to Ely to talk water quality.

For more than two decades, Heidi Holtan has helped shape the sound of KAXE. Since joining the station in 2002 as a volunteer music programmer, she has worn many hats including the weekly book program, Realgoodwords, hosting the Morning Show, creation and host of the weekly call-in program Between You and Me, serving as Outreach Producer. Program Director, News Director and currently Director of Content and Public Affairs.
