KAXE/KBXE season watch

In response to COVID-19 we are creating more local content on Northern Community Radio - to keep us less socially isolated and to continue with our mission to be a resource and be trusted in our communities.

We'll be talking with Staff Phenologist John Latimer most mornings now - he'll remind us to get outside.  Look at your surroundings - try a new trail.  He asked people in our Season Watch facebook group for ideas on where to hike in northern Minnesota  - check it out for yourself and feel free to share your favorites as well!

You are welcome to use the Spring Phenology Curriculum created by John Latimer and Judkins for students as well.

Heidi Holtan is KAXE's Director of Content and Public Affairs where she manages producers and is the local host of Morning Edition from NPR. Heidi is a regional correspondent for WDSE/WRPT's Duluth Public Television’s Almanac North.
