Every Tuesday we hear from students and listeners as they send in weekly Phenology observations. In this Phenology Talkbacks segment, we hear student reports from kids in Blackduck, Virginia, Two Harbors, White Earth, Grand Rapids, Bemidji, Brainerd and Northfield. We also heard from listeners Kent, Joel, Ed and Ian. This week's reports are a a potpourri of spring happenings from robins and gold finches to nearly 2 feet of snow and frigid temps. It's been a wild spring week that's for sure! Thanks to everyone who sent along their observations!
We extend out sympathy to Mr. Holmes's class in Virginia, MN. As you'll hear in their report, they lost their beloved class pet, a hamster named SuperDude, this week. It stinks losing a pet. Our hearts go out to this Roosevelt Elementary group!
